WHAT IS THE PHOEBE CONNECTION?

 

A sistah is a precious gift to the heart, a friend to the divine spirit, a special thread to the very essence of life.  When sistahs stand shoulder to shoulder, who will stand a realistic chance against us?

 

There certainly can be no circumstances in real life in which the conversation a sistah will not provide some comfort.  She is your mirror, shining back at you with realms of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anywhere and at any time. She is your teacher and actually the primary reason you are still here. We acquire friends and we gain  enemies, but our sistahs come with the territory. She knows my  faults, virtues, catastrophes, mortifications, triumphs, rivalries and desires.  We have been bonded together under the codes of God's law. Sistahhood is powerful and there surely is no better friend than a sistah. 

 

HOW WILL I BE CONNECTED WITH MY PHOEBE?

All persons must complete an application detailing pertinent information including hobbies and interests. In addition, everyone is interviewed and must attend a program training, which will include resource materials and tips on successful mentoring. Mentors and mentorees are then matched and the relationship commences.

 

WHAT IS THE COMMITTMENT FROM ME?

One day a month for one year.
